The Metals Banc Building (yes, it is spelled with a “c” instead of a “k” as we are no longer an official bank,) was designed by nationally renowned architect Cass Gilbert in 1906. The Metals Banc Building is sited at the very heart of Montana’s most celebrated city. With a metropolitan character, Butte is truly a community like no other; unique & resilient. Located at the base of the Continental Divide, high atop the Rocky Mountain Front, you will be immersed within the largest historic landmark district in the United States.
The building is composed of seven floors. In the basement of the building there is a cafe/coffee shop that has some of the best pastries in town and some delicious lattes as well. On the first floor, is The Metals Sports Bar and Grill. Want to start your weekend off right? Stop in for a turkey wrap or mouth watering three cheese burger. The second floor serves as office space to several professional companies. Also on this floor is a boardroom and conference room available to anyone renting within the building. Martha U. Cooney artwork is showcased in her Art Gallery on the third floor and floors 4-7 many people call home, as they are condos. Some are temporary renters, whereas, others are homes to many long term owners. The building is within walking distance to several banks, retail stores, the hospital, and many other restaurants. Additionally, The Metals Banc Building has an enclosed off-street parking garage that has spaces available for rent.
Some of the upscale features of each condo include: open 20 ft. ceilings, unbelievable panoramic views, granite counter tops, custom closet and cabinets, crown moldings, washer and dryer, and efficient stainless steel appliances. Most all of the condos are rented as fully furnished with utilities (water, heat, trash, electricity) included in the monthly rate. Cable and internet services are available in some, if not most, of the condos and may be an additional charge. Please inquire if you are interested in renting or owning today!!!
